This session will explore recent innovations in neurosurgery that may have relevance to all learners. Topics covered will include 1) the use of artificial intelligence to help integrate operating room functionality; 2) the treatment of patients with chronic subdural hematoma using neuro-endovascular techniques; 3) optimizing the care of patients with spinal disease intra-operatively and post-operatively.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of this session participants will be able to better understand how artifical intelligence can be used to integrate funtionality in the operating room.
  • At the end of this session participants will be able to evaluate treatment options for patients with chronic subdural hematoma including neuro-endovascular treatment paradigms.
  • At the end of this session participants will be able to better understand how to optimize the care of patients with spinal disease, both during and after surgery.
