This course is aimed at increasing trainee exposure to neurointerventional techniques, using a "hands-on" approach. We will have multiple stations focusing on endovascular treatment of both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, as well as the basic equipment needed for these procedures. The instructors will be from diverse backgrounds of training, and this course may appeal to trainees from Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Radiology.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, the participant will be able to describe neurointerventional access sites and potential complications
Upon completion, the participant will be able to delineate the common tools and techniques used in neurointervention for acute ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke
Upon completion, the participant will have had a chance to handle some of the equipment used in neurointervention during mechanical thrombectomy and other procedures
