This session will review novel and emerging biomarkers for use in clinical neurology. There will be three sections which will cover Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia and Neuro-oncology.

Learning Objectives:

To review new biomarkers included in the updated Multiple Sclerosis diagnostic criteria including: Neurofilament light chain, GFAP, and the central vein sign
To review the performance and utility of new plasma assays for Alzheimer’s disease in the context of emerging therapies
To review molecular and imaging biomarkers for primary brain tumors based on the 2021 WHO classification
