This course will provide an update on acute treatment of migraine including the role of the CGRP targeted therapies in menstrual migraine and the migraine prodrome. Migraine prevention with a focus on the 2024 Updated CHS Guidelines will be discussed. Optimal management of cluster headache including newer treatments and future research directions will also be presented. Update on headache in pregnancy will also be reviewed

Learning Objectives:

To understand options for the acute treatment of migraine with an emphasis on the role of CGRP targeted agents including treatment during the prodrome and menstrual migraine
To discuss the landscape of options available for migraine prevention including treatment strategies for use in daily practice
To understand of the treatment of migraine in pregnancy and the use of newer agents
To understand cluster headache management including new treatments and directions for future research
